Labels are not something I go for. I believe people should be free to explore all sides of their personality without being pigeonholed into one. This look was concocted after listening to many hours of 90's clubbing music and totally reminds me of the alternative looks of that day. I seemed to have picked a look that is the complete opposite of who I am. In high school, I was the class clown (which is actually a label I love). But nowadays I'm just a little bit of everything - so in some far fetched way, I guess this look is fitting for me!
This dress was bought probably 3 months ago? I can't believe I waited so long to wear it. The weird thing about going through a weight loss (besides
everything) is that a lot of my clothes either have to be worn now or else face never being worn again. I've already set aside a few other things that I'm running out of time to wear. But on the other hand, I've gotten really good at not being attached to my clothes and have been giving them away like there's no tomorrow. It's always good not to hold on to material possessions! (Matthew 6:19-21)

It's outfits like this that really makes me sad I wasn't a teenager in the 90's.

I've always hated labels, too - mostly, I think, because I've never really felt that I fit any of them. I'm a girly-girl, but I love cars and guns. I was raised in the city, but I love the county. I love mustaches and Ball jars, but I dislike the whole "hipster" thing! I'm just a little of everything, too. ;)
