When I think of growing up and what makes one an adult, I think of how a style evolves. And while something like high heels are not practical as a teen, they seem totally appropriate to start wearing in your 20's. They seem like you mean business and you have important places to be. So far I've only needed them for special occasions but when I came across these perfect heeled boots, I knew they were my gateway to "grown up" shoes. I have seriously worn them for every outing since buying them and I feel I'm getting more and more comfortable with the idea of wearing heels for fun. I think I'm growing up!

I'm married with two kids. I have a college degree. We just bought a house. I schedule doctors appointments, cook dinner every night, go grocery shopping every week, and when I ask myself, "do I feel like an adult today?" The answer is always no. I still feel like a 16 year old kid and I don't think I will ever feel grown up. Plus side? I'm totally cool with that. lol.

I have no idea what makes one an adult. Wearing heels makes me feel grown up too. So do dangly earrings. In fact, dangly earrings make me feel so adult it freaks me out so I never wear them, haha.

i really love this outfit and i love the photo settings! you look great! I think we all just realize that we have certain responsiblities as we get older and learn to be more successful but i dont think anyone really ever grows up, or atleast we shouldnt :)
