Easter All Over Again

Easter basically felt like deja vu from last year. I wore most of the same accessories and we had the same gusty wind. There were minor differences though, mainly that I fell asleep for most of the day. I was really out of commission this weekend after consuming the wrong vitamins that forced me into a zombie like state. At least I was awake enough to put on a dress and run some errands or else I wouldn't have these pictures to share.

Also, a mystery person may or may not have attempted an Easter egg hunt because I found half a pink plastic egg encrusted in some leaves in my backyard. It looked like it had been there for a few years - I'm shocked no one found it before me! (Well, clearly it had been found because there was no candy in it. Greedy egg treat snatcher!)

Fashion Bloggers Are Just Like Us

Did you know that fashion bloggers are just like regular people? I took a literal page from US magazine called "Stars Are Just Like Us!" and spun it into a funny video idea but with fashion bloggers acting as the stars. So watch below as I demonstrate exactly what you, a reader, have in common with the content creators of the web.

Be sure to like & subscribe if it made you smile and feel free to share it with your friends, especially your weird blogger friends. ;)

Audrey Hepburn For The Modern Girl

I fully agree with the idea that thrifting is a lot like hunting for treasure. I spent months searching for these jeans and basically had a silent freak out when I found them last fall at a thrift store. After trying them on and finding they fit perfectly, I believe I walked out of the dressing wide eyed and said in a solemn voice to my mother "I found the pants."

So if they're so great, why have I not worn them for 6 months? Well, I'm lazy when it comes to alterations and finally caved and asked my mom (same one from the previous story) to take in the legs a bit. But now they're perfect! And for their inaugural wear, I did a nod to Audrey Hepburn and her chic 60s style. (I even made a quick #ootd video for you to enjoy below!)

But don't worry, 1980s.. I'll be back. ;)
